Ubisoft have launched their Assassin's Creed game on social networking site Facebook.
Named Project Legacy, it is a training simulator for Templar company Abstergo Industries. You use action points to complete memories, which earns experience points and money. The experience points allow you to level up and assign skill points. If you have played Mafia Wars, I'm sure it will all seem very similar.
What might interest Xbox fans is that while you play Project Legacy you earn Uplay points, which can be redeemed for rewards in Ubisoft games. As you unlock landmarks and items in Legacy, the corresponding items will become available in Brotherhood. Playing the single-player game on your console will in turn unlock 25 exclusive missions, experience and in-game currency in Legacy.
Time will tell whether this will be a success or nothing more than a forgotten memory glitch (see what I did there?). Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood will be released 16th November in North America and 19th November in Europe.
