Platforms Confirmed For Overkill's Walking Dead

By Mark Delaney, 2 years ago
When Robert Kirkman began writing The Walking Dead comics back in 2002, no one could have known just how huge the franchise would grow to become. Over a decade later, the series has spawned a wildly popular TV show, several books, clothing, action figures, a web series, and no less than three separate video game adaptations. The newest of which is from Overkill, producers of the Payday series. You may recall the announcement from the Swedish studio back in August.

Since then we've heard nothing about it besides the confirmation of its continued existence. Today it was revealed that the game will be published by 505 Games, and with that news comes the more important console plans. 360 owners may be disappointed to find the game will join the growing trend of skipping out on last generation consoles. For those who haven't made the switch yet, is this enough to sway you?

Xbox One owners can look for OVERKILL's The Walking Dead sometime in 2016.
