In typical music game fashion, Activision announced that will be getting a backwards compatibility update in November, shortly after it's release, to make DLC released for the original DJ Hero work in the upcoming sequel. And to tie it all together, they announced the first two packs of DLC for the sequel:

Hit Makers Mix Pack: November 2nd, 2010
- Usher ft. - "OMG" (Remix by FSG)
- Rihanna ft. JAY-Z - "Umbrella" Mixed With Marvin Gaye - "Let's Get It On"
- Big Boi & Cutty - "Shutterbug" Mixed With Mark Morrison - "Return of the Mack"

Electro Hits Mix Pack: November 16th, 2010
- LMFAO - "I'm In Miami Trick" Mixed With Green Velvet - "Shake & Pop"
- Steve Aoki ft. [[[Zuper Blahq]]] - "I'm In The House" (Remix by FSG)
- SMD - "Hustler" Mixed With Technotronic - "Pump Up The Jam"

Both packs will cost 640 MSP each. But, if you're feeling particularly thrifty, you can always get DJ Hero 1 for free, and that way you won't have to worry about backwards compatibility.

DJ Hero 2 will be available on October 19th in North America, and October 22nd in Europe.
