Back in March
it was announced at GDC that the sequel to the classic post-apocalyptic role-playing title Wasteland
would be making its way to Xbox One in a "Game of the Year" edition under the ID@Xbox self-publishing program. There's now a set of screens from Wasteland 2: Director's Cut
, which was originally released last September on PC following a very successful 2012 Kickstarter campaign. The "Game of the Year" version will take advantage of new rendering capabilities to deliver improved lighting and new character models. There'll also be new voice work and new gameplay mechanics, including a Perks & Quirks system to fine tune your character's unique strengths (and weaknesses) and a Precision Strike system for improved attack targeting.
The "Game of the Year" edition of Wasteland 2
will be coming to Xbox One this Summer.
