The folks over at Vector Unit have announced that their popular mobile game Beach Buggy Racing will be coming to the Xbox One next week. For those of you who aren't aware of what Beach Buggy Racing is exactly, it is a 3-D kart-racing game with powerups, customizable cars, teams of racers and more. With the port from mobile to consoles comes several changes that Vector Unit detailed, starting with a full premium game experience:
As many of you know, Beach Buggy Racing on mobile is a free to play game, but for console versions we completely retuned it to make it a full Mario Kart style premium game. Of course we got rid of stuff like timers, ads, and IAPs. But we also completely retuned the game economy so you can earn upgrades easier, and the pace of unlocking stuff is faster.
On top of this, the game will also come with all the cars and powerups unlocked, a new 1000 HP career series, split screen and of course, 1,000 gamerscore. And all this will be running at a buttery-smooth 60 frames per second and 1080p, so your entire experience will be crisp and silky-smooth.
Beach Buggy Racing is set to release on May 29th with a price tag of USD $9.99.
