Evolve Shows Off New Arena Mode Update

By Devin McIntyre, 1 year ago
Turtle Rock Studios has been quietly working on an update for Evolve to bring a new game mode, called Arena Mode, to their competitive shooter. This new Arena Mode is set to offer players a faster paced experience, along with shorter game times. The match will start, and end, in one mobile arena, confining the entire game to that space; an all out brawl between hunters and monster with a victor emerging after a best of three series. With five different arena placements for each of the maps in Evolve, fighting on different terrain should keep the new game mode fresh and exciting for players. Arena Mode can be seen in the following video, where the details are discussed during gameplay from the first Arena match.

This update will be free to download, and is available right now on the Xbox One.
