Pure Hold’em Details DLC Competition

By Ashley Woodcock, 2 years ago
It's competition time as VooFoo Studios, game developers behind the upcoming Pure Hold'em, have announced a contest along with new DLC details to commemorate the start of this year's World Series of Poker which takes place in Las Vegas.

Those interested in the chip set naming competition will be able to submit their suggestions for a currently unnamed chip set that will be dubbed with a winning name and then made available as DLC after the launch of Pure Hold'em. As if that wasn't a pretty sweat deal already, the winner will also be gifted with a console too! The choices will be between a Playstation 4 or Xbox One and the winner will also be credited in the game once it becomes available.

Three chip sets and three card sets will be available with the title at launch. More game packs are scheduled to release as DLC in the months after launch as well as the set that is awaiting its winning name. There will be plenty of customisation options ranging from different colours to different patterns for players to use in order to make their card and poker chip sets look exactly how they want them to. The trailer and screens showcasing the various sets was covered back in February, so be sure to catch up on those right here.

The competition is being hosted by nowgamer.com, so be sure to head on over and take part in the contest.

Pure Hold'em makes its way to the Xbox One later this year.
