Mighty No. 9
, the upcoming game from Mega Man
and Dead Rising (Xbox 360)
creator Keiji Inafune, will be receiving an extremely limited Signature Edition in North America, developer Comcept and publisher Deep Silver co-announced. As well as containing the Launch Edition of Mighty No. 9
, the Signature Edition will come with a 6.5 inch statue of Beck, the game's protagonist, as well as three interchangeable faceplates for the statue. Each statue will also be individually numbered and the special packaging will contain a foil signature from Keiji Inafune himself.
Don't worry anyone outside of North America, there's still plenty of Mighty No. 9
news for you too! Five new screenshots from the game were revealed alongside the Signature Edition announcement.
If those screenshots aren't doing much for you, perhaps showing the game in motion will help. A new "Beat Them at Their Own Game" trailer shows all the Mightys before Beck, and we even see some short clips of Beck facing off against some of them.
Finally, in addition to all of the news that preceded it, there was the announcement that every launch edition of Mighty No. 9
will contain a "Retro Hero" DLC, which contains both a retro-inspired costume for Beck and a one-hit-death difficulty mode. Mighty No. 9
is scheduled to launch on Xbox 360
and Xbox One on September 15th in the Americas and September 18th worldwide.
