Light Fall Embraces the Xbox One

Last Friday, game developer Bishop Games put out a call to the gaming community to aid them in giving their Kickstarted title Light Fall one last push towards a goal of $20,000. When entering the last 24 hours of the Kickstarter campaign, it seemed the target was out of reach. Despite this, the team were still determined on bringing their title to consoles and were fully aware that the demand was high. Bishop Games backed up their support for a console port with this short and sweet statement for those keeping an eye on the journey of the game:

Light Fall also feels very natural with a controller in hand. Not to mention that we already are certified developers for Sony and we had a Skype call with a Microsoft rep earlier this week.
As most of us will know, the porting of a title can be a long path to go down. Bishop Games has the opportunity to team up with a publisher to help them reach their objective. The console port is definitely coming, but it will be likely to come after the PC/MAC counterparts, "it’s just a matter of when and how". This is what players can expect from the upcoming platformer.

Enter the universe of Light Fall and jump into an epic adventure where darkness prevails over the light. Make your way through the Forgotten World of Numbra and explore its many regions. Do not be fooled by the quiet stillness of Numbra, as you will encounter strange creatures and brave many challenges to uncover your mysterious past.
Here is a quick rundown of the game's features.

• The Shadow Core is a block that can be used and controlled at will. Use the Shadow Core the way it fits your playstyle and succeed in your quest.
• Explore Numbra as a whole : wander through the calm night of the Lunar Plain, venture into the Marshlands of Sorrow, face the exotic wildlife of the Vipera’s Forest and explore the Unknown Depths.
• Load up Light Fall and immerse yourself in this strange universe where darkness prevails over the light. You will meet many outlandish characters, be it friends or foes.

With the goal conquered, be sure to keep your eyes focused on the front page of TA for more updates on Light Fall. For now, however, it's safe to say that it will be making its way to the Xbox One.
