Rock Band 4 Shows Off New Instruments

When Harmonix announced that was coming to Xbox One later this year, they also gave us a first glimpse at the instruments for the game. Having once again partnered with Mad Catz, there was a clear desire to stick with the familiar, though there was a promise that more details would be given about instruments at a later time.

While we do know for sure now that legacy instruments will work with current consoles (all you'll have to do is purchase a dongle, much like how legacy headsets were made to work with Xbox One), there are likely those of you who will need to purchase new instruments or are simply looking to upgrade from your old ones. In the below video, Alex 'Big Boy Barry', discusses what we can look forward to from our new peripherals.

Rock Band 4 still does not have a set release date, though it will arrive some time later this year.
