Microsoft is wasting no time as they prepare for E3 2015, and have jumped the gun with new product announcements before the expo has even started! Announced yesterday, Microsoft has unveiled a new Xbox One model with expanded hard drive capacity and a matte finish. With 1TB of storage space, the expanded console now allows more storage out the box for your games and media.

Also unveiled is a redesigned Xbox One controller, featuring the frequently requested 3.5mm headphone jack. This means that you'll no longer need an additional headset adapter to plug in your favorite set of headphones. The controller also features improved bumper buttons, that will now accurately respond to player input along the entire bumper.

The 1TB console will begin to appear at US retailers from June 16th onward. Additional 'select markets' will also see the expanded console later in June. The Xbox One 1TB console will retail at $399. The Xbox One 500GB will remain available at the now permanently reduced price of $349.
