When Hagrid warned Harry Potter that there's a storm coming and "we all best be ready when she does", I'm pretty sure he was talking about E3. If you haven't noticed, there's already been a lot of reveals, teasers, and details surrounding, well, pretty much everything lately. 505 Games joined the masses and announced their full E3 lineup, and if you've been following the front page, you've already seen
some of these announcements
yourself. Along with a lot of games made for consoles, two popular mobile games are making the transition to the Xbox One.Battle Islands
is a real-time strategy game set in a cartoonish WWII setting. It'll feature new exclusive features on the Xbox One version, namely new vehicle units like a heavy gunboat, a motorbike with sidecar, and fighter plane escorts. It'll also come with a Commando mode that enables players to maneuver units and destroy targets with their controllers. Gems of War
combines elements of strategy and RPGs in a fantasy puzzler full of dragons, wizards, and plenty of long beards.
No pricing has been revealed for either title just yet, though both are free-to-play on mobile and Battle Islands
is also free on PS4. Release dates are also a mystery for now, but we should know more by this time next week when E3 is nearly over.
