PES 2016 Taking Another Shot At Dethroning FIFA

By Mark Delaney, 2 years ago
Pro Evolution Soccer is Konami's long running alternative to EA's mega popular FIFA series. Always the bridesmaid, maybe this is the year PES finally ties the knot with gamers looking for their futbol fix. After all, the real-life federation isn't exactly looking so respectable right now. Maybe carrying the name will undo EA's franchise and pave the way for PES's reign as the soccer game of choice.

Neymar Jr. will grace the cover after a season in which his club won La Liga and Copa Del Rey domestically and then he went on to win the UEFA Champions League, which will be exclusively available in PES 2016. Konami announced that a full reveal is coming tomorrow but for now this new trailer serves as the first piece of media for this year's iteration.

Look for the full reveal coming soon.
