Castles Coming to Xbox One

Developer Whoot Games and publisher Badland Indie announced today that Castles, their "multiplayer puzzle-action game," will be coming to Xbox One. It's the player's job to build towers in survival mode, adventure mode, or player vs. player mode. When building is no longer possible, you lose.

The entire game takes place in a 7 x 7 tower composed of the central trunk (5 x 5) and the exterior ‘scaffolding’ which is limited exclusively to the players. The blocks fall from above in the central trunk, where the player can move the blocks by pushing or dragging them, always with the objective of creating combinations.

When the goals of each level are met, the tower will grow higher, one level at a time. With the growth of the tower new dangers will manifest themselves via changes in climate or tougher enemies. These hazards are generated randomly, so the experience will be different with each gameplay.

In Castles, you lose when the central trunk is full of blocks and the player cannot make further combinations of blocks.
Castles will be coming to Xbox One, but we have no confirmed release date yet.
