As we revealed earlier, the Kinect based dancing title, Baila Latino
will be heading
to the Xbox One console via ID@Xbox. Initially we had only the trailer but now we have a few more details about the game and what can be expected from the title.
The game features both singleplayer and multiplayer for up to four players. In each of the modes, the dancers Carlo Romano and Vera Sokolova, from the renowned “Carolyn Smith Dance Academy”, encourage the players to swing, sway, and sashay to twenty of the biggest Latino hits of the recent times.
The dances are well-structured choreographs and suitable for everybody regardless of their dancing experience, but will ultimately still challenge the most accomplished of dancers. Single dance will allow the player to select their favorite song and challenge their friends, but for those with a more ruthless streak there are also Throw Out - the player with the worst score is eliminated at the end of each challenge, Battle - the winner is the player with the best score after three dances, and Endurance - with the winner being the player with the best score after five dances.
To complete the rich list of game options there is a “prizes hub” that collects all the results of each profile after every challenge. Ultimately, any player achieving the highest score in all the songs becomes a fully fledged "Baila Latino Dancer".
As of the time of writing, release details and dates have yet to be confirmed.
