Jean-François Dugas, the Executive Game Director at Eidos-Montreal, sat down with the guys at the Playstation Coverage Show during E3 to talk about the next chapter in the Deus Ex
franchise, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Dugas explains that they have upgraded the combat style of the game in hopes of it being comparable to the focus on stealth that weighed heavily in the last title, Deus Ex: Human Revolution
, and that players will have more forgiving options as to how they actually want to play. Also improved is the inventory and weapon customization, allowing players more choices than before. In the story, Adam Jensen is part of an international counter-terrorist unit and holds a personal vendetta, which will seemingly continue to blur the lines between good and evil.
Adam Jensen, along with his newly improved facial hair
augmentations, will make his Xbox One appearance in 2016.
