By Chewie, 1 year ago
This report is for the period June 15th to 21st 2015.

Oh, hi there. Welcome to more numbers and letters from here on TA, this time for the third week of June which, thanks to E3, was a little bit quiet on the new release front. Still there are a few interesting things to look at so strap in and get ready. Wait. What's that behind you? STAT ATTACK!!! *

The Big Numbers
63,956 TrueAchievements gamers started a total of 101,534 games between them (2,107 different games).

7,721 TrueAchievements gamers completed a total of 12,421 games between them (1,552 different games).

131,826 TrueAchievements gamers won a total of 1,856,255 achievements online between them (67,362 different achievements).

Xbox One
This week saw Titanfall added to the EA Access Vault and it seems like it was a popular choice. It puts the game as the most started with nearly 4,500 starters and grabs three spots on Achievements Won in fourth, eighth and tenth. The upspike in EA Access memberships as a result also puts other vault games on the table with Need for Speed Rivals, Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare, Battlefield 4, Peggle 2 and NHL 15 all making appearances.

Settling for second most started is the previous week's new release The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, although that game is actually being more played grabbing the top three achievements won. The week also saw the first game in the Game Preview Program arrive in the form of Elite: Dangerous. It storms onto the tables as the third most started game with almost 4,000 starters. Thanks to the first episode being made free, Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series lands in tenth with over 2,100 starters.

Recent sale title Pneuma: Breath of Life remains high on the Completed table in second thanks to some very easy achievements. Recent release LEGO Jurassic World also jumps up onto the table to third with almost 260 completions. The unexpected release of some achievement carrying DLC lands Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition as the fourth most completed game with over 200 completions.

Xbox 360
The mid-month 360 Games with Gold switchover sees Rico's antics in Just Cause 2 making way for Garrett's antics in THIEF (Xbox 360). It's by far the most started game with 3,800 starters but it doesn't manage to loot the entire Achievements Won table. Rico leaves his mark by grabbing the bottom three spots. Just Cause 2 also manages to become the fourth most completed game with over 40 completions, just above recent release LEGO Jurassic World (Xbox 360).

After two weeks on the table, Fallout 3 remains, this time actually climbing up from seventh with 160 starters to fifth with over 220. Fallout: New Vegas on the other hand slides the other way from eighth off the bottom of the table. However it does manage to turn up as the tenth most completed title.

An interesting entry as the eighth most started game is Mass Effect with almost 190 starters. It appears thanks to being one of the most popular titles in the first wave of Backwards Compatible games from the 360 to the One. The last few months have seen a serious decline in 360 numbers but this new feature may just keep the tables running for a while.

XBLA
Backwards Compatibility has a much bigger impact on XBLA, especially as many of the titles were also previous Games with Gold freebies. It would actually be faster to name the titles that aren't backwards compatible than the ones that are. They are Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series (Xbox 360), which is the second most started title thanks to first episode freeness, and Terraria (Xbox 360) in tenth, which has been well and truly dethroned after a long reign at the top of the table. These titles also disrupt the usual Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition clean sweep. Instead we're treated to a mix of achievements from four different titles.

It's still the Make It Rain: The Love of Money (Win 8) show on Windows with support from Hitman GO (Win 8). However, a date sensitive achievement puts Dragon's Lair (Win 8) as the eighth most started game as well as the sixth most completed.

WP gets a new free to play title this week. Dragon Mania Legends (WP) is the most started game with almost 790 starters above recent release What in the World? (WP), which slips by half from 1,500 to 750 starters into second. It's still the most earned title though, sweeping Achievements Won. Other new release Lines (WP) takes third with only 320 starters, presumably because, unlike the others, you actually have to pay for it.

Genres
It's almost no change at the top of the genre tables with Shooter and Action-Adventure both increasing their numbers slightly. Sports manages to clamber up from seventh to fifth, presumably because a lot of the titles on EA Access are sports titles. Game of Thrones also helps put Adventure on the table in ninth whilst the drop in MASSIVE CHALICE numbers sees Strategy further fall from sixth to tenth.

That's all for this week. Until next time, when we'll be seeing Batman take on Dante.

* I watched Jurassic World yesterday and had a nightmare last night where all the stats got turned into a genetically modified giant monstrous pie chart with lots of teeth. Luckily only Statisticles were eaten so no harm was done.
