Peanuts Movie: Snoopy's Grand Adventure Announced

By Michelle Balsan,
Did you know that a brand new movie based on Charles Schulz's Peanuts gang is set to hit theaters later this year? That's right, for the first time in 35 years, a film based on the franchise is set to be released, so what better time to finally bring out a retail-sized Peanuts inspired game on consoles. To that end, Activision has revealed that The Peanuts Movie: Snoopy's Grand Adventure is currently in development.

In Snoopy's Grand Adventure, players lead Charlie Brown's best four-legged friend on a fantastical trip through his imagination, where he will track down the Peanuts by engaging in an "intricate game of hide-and-seek." Throughout the game, Snoopy will be able to acquire costumes that will grant him different skills, including his pilot's gear that will be familiar to players of Snoopy Flying Ace (and long-time fans of the franchise as well). The game also allows for a second player to join in, taking on the role of Woodstock, Snoopy's feathered companion.
