With the Xbox One edition of Wargaming's World of Tanks set to debut before the end of the month, it has come time for a beta to be run to test the game out before its full release. The developer has revealed that a two day Beta event will be happening this weekend, on July 11 and 12, and that players can begin downloading the Beta build right now.

To encourage people to participate, several bonuses are being placed on the table. Anyone who logs into the Beta will receive the Premium American Tier 3 M22 Locust just for stopping by. If you already have that tank, you'll instead be gifted 180,000 silver and a garage slot. For those who play the game between 11:00AM and 2:00PM Pacific on either day, an extra "2x XP bonus on all battles and a 2x Battle Operation to be used later" will also be granted. Finally, anyone who downloads the full game prior to its launch will be given "a free Premium light tank, the American tier II T1E6-X1, emblazoned with an exclusive World of Tanks shield emblem, as well as an exclusive camouflage."

World of Tanks will exit the garage on July 28th on Xbox One and will be free to all Gold members. A free seven-day trial will be available to those at Silver status. Do you plan on jumping into the Beta for fun and free goodies? Let us know in the comments!
