This report is for the period July 20th to 26th 2015
Welcome to the stats for the last full week of July here on TA. This week we'll see if some of the new Xbox One releases can reach the tables and if the latest episode from Telltale's take on Game of Thrones
remains as popular as its predecessors. The Big Numbers
52,873 TrueAchievements gamers started a total of 79,329 games between them (2,217 different games).
8,153 TrueAchievements gamers completed a total of 13,100 games between them (1,554 different games).
129,605 TrueAchievements gamers won a total of 1,874,952 achievements online between them (67,950 different achievements).Xbox One
Two new releases make the table this week with Tembo The Badass Elephant
being the most popular with 3,100 starters as the second most started game, whilst The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth
takes seventh with 1,100. Neither game appears on the Completed or Achievements Won table. The latter is mostly thanks to the new episode of Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series
, which fills up the majority of achievements on the table, barring the top two, which belong to Games with Gold freebie So Many Me
. Speaking of which, that particular title has had so many players that it manages to climb to the top of the Completed table with almost 500 completions. Unfortunately, the week's other new release, Q.U.B.E. Director's Cut
, doesn't make the cut.
The previous week's sale title Tomb Raider - Definitive Edition
remains popular as the eighth most started title, just above this week's sale offering Infinity Runner
, which takes ninth with nearly 1,000 starters.Top Xbox One Games StartedTop Xbox One Games CompletedTop Xbox One Achievements WonXbox 360
Things on the 360 don't see much change this week with Games with Gold freebie Gears of War 3
continuing to dominate on the Started table with 850 starters and sweeping all of the Achievements Won again. Two games that prove popular from the week's sale are Red Dead Redemption
and Forza Horizon
, which are the fifth and eighth most started games with 150 and almost 120 starters each.Top Xbox 360 Games StartedTop Xbox 360 Games CompletedTop Xbox 360 Achievements WonXBLA
The freeness of the first episode along with the release of the latest one keep Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series (Xbox 360)
on the tables as the second most started title and, like on the One, almost sweeping Achievements Won. Recent freebie Plants vs. Zombies
remains the most started though and climbs up to the top on Completed too. New release Deadliest Warrior: Battlegrounds
is nowhere to be seen.
Sales give Doom (Arcade)
, Pac-Man Championship Edition DX
, Quake Arena Arcade
and Doom II: Hell on Earth
boosts onto the Started table, with Pac-Man
also appearing in sixth on Completed thanks to its very easy completion.Top Xbox Live Arcade Games StartedTop Xbox Live Arcade Games CompletedTop Xbox Live Arcade Achievements WonWindows
The release of the new OS plonks Microsoft Solitaire Collection (UWP)
onto the tables as the most started game with 250 starters and half the Achievements Won. Meanwhile the recent Gameloft releases all slide down the table with Dragon Mania Legends (Win 8)
in particular dropping from first to fifth on Started, although it does still manage to grab three Achievements Won.Top Windows Games StartedTop Windows Games CompletedTop Windows Achievements WonWindows Phone
Recent release Tiny Troopers 2: Special Ops (WP)
continues to be the most started title and rises to third on Completed, although it only manages a single Achievement Won. What in the World? (WP)
hogs that table with its easy achievements and completion, staying firmly at the top of Completed.Top Windows Phone Games Started Top Windows Phone Games CompletedTop Windows Phone Achievements WonGenres
The top half of Genres remains unchanged this week with no major releases or changes in freebies to disrupt things. The only real change is that, lower down, the Game of Thrones
achievements do help kick Adventure up from eighth to sixth. Total TrueAchievements won by Genre
That's all for this week. Next week we'll see if a handful of One releases can do more to challenge the tables as well as the release of the stats for the whole of July. See you then!
