Project Knoxville Chosen As Press Play's Next Game

By Joseph C, 1 year ago
Press Play, the beautiful minds behind Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, have announced the winner of their fans' choice campaign: Project Knoxville.

Fans of things like The Hunger Games can look forward to a game set on a similar premise, where you play the part of a game show contestant fighting for survival with, and against, your fellow players.

In addition to engaging the community in an interactive development process similar to early-access involvement in the PC game space, Press Play will also begin hosting a bi-weekly twitch stream on September 17th at 5am Pacific. If the time seems odd to our American readers, that's because they're in Copenhagen, where the stream starts at 2pm locally. Check out the announcement trailer below, and get ready to form alliances.

Project Knoxville has no release date this early on. We'll keep you informed as more info arrives.

36-year old married gamer, father to a fierce Boston Terrier but no humanoid children. I've been gaming practically my whole life, starting around when I was 5 or 6 years old with an Atari 2600 and progressing through nearly every console ever released apart from the Wii U. I'm a completionist by nature, but am trying to move away from chasing every-higher gamerscore and just focusing on enjoying the great games that are all around me. We'll see how successful I am. I've been on TA since 2009 but have become much more active on the site in the past couple of years, and look forward to seeing it grow now that the XB1 app is getting it some much-deserved exposure!
