Rumours of a sequel to Hitman: Blood Money
gathered pace today after three developer CVs listed on LinkedIn revealed their roles in the development of the game. LinkedIn is a business-oriented social networking site, and has been the source of many unintentional disclosures of games in development.Damien Simper
was lead animator for Hitman 5.Theo Engell-Nielsen
was a developer on the game, and even reveals a potential 2011 release date.
Finally, a cached page for Rasmus Hoejengaard
reveals that he also worked on the game. He has since removed any mention of the game from his profile.
The original rumours started when David Bateson, voice actor for Agent 47, revealed that he had done some voice recording for the next installment of Hitman in an interview with TheGamingLiberty.com
. Speculation is that Agent 47 will have reached a low-point, and must build himself back up to become a feared assassin once again. Does this sound familiar to anyone (Max Payne, Sam Fisher)?
