Smite Celebrates Talk Like a Pirate Day

Grab yer peg legs and, uh, walk the plank? No wait, that's bad. Um, raise the sails and lower... your, your, swords. I'm not very good at this. Hopefully you do better because SMITE is celebrating the latest in 2015's absurd obsession with fake celebration days -- Talk Like A Pirate Day. Starting today, September 18th, and throughout the weekend, pirate skins are again available for purchase and discounted nicely at 25% off each. That means Dreadbeard Poseidon, High Seas Sobek, Skaliwag Kali, Privatyr Tyr, and Buccaneith skins can each be had on the cheap until the 21st. Additionally, all Pirate Gods' voice packs are 50% off.

Perhaps more importantly, the MOBA is also celebrating the swashbuckling Saturday with double worshipers and double experience all weekend long. For those of you keeping score at home, this is the third bonus XP event in four weeks since the game released in full. Involved players can't complain about that, I imagine. Don't get too drunk off the rum, mateys. Yer teams need ya.

Update: To clarify, you need to play in a party with others to earn the XP and Worshippers rewards. Thanks to the commenters that pointed out this oversight.
