This report is for the period September 14th to 20th 2015.
Welcome to the stats here on TA for the beginning of September, which saw a whole range of new releases, including a rather anticipated piece of DLC.

The Big Numbers
67,323 TrueAchievements gamers started a total of 98,969 games between them (2,024 different games).

5,562 TrueAchievements gamers completed a total of 7,485 games between them (1,222 different games).

145,341 TrueAchievements gamers won a total of 1,411,954 achievements online between them (53,931 different achievements).

Xbox One
The new Games with Gold freebie proves to be a popular one this week, with Tomb Raider - Definitive Edition the most started game with 11,600 starters and a single spot on Achievements Won, though it has to settle for the middle of that table thanks mostly to the "The Taken King" DLC for Destiny, which grabs the top four spots. The DLC's release has had the effect of luring more players into starting the game, putting it in ninth with approaching 1,300 starters.

Three new releases follow Tomb Raider as the second, third and fourth most started titles. Forza Motorsport 6 grabs 11,000 starters, followed by Frozen Free Fall: Snowball Fight with 8,300 and FIFA 16 with 8,000. Forza also manages four spots on Achievements Won whilst Frozen claims a single one. NHL 16 also makes the table as the sixth most started game in its release week whilst plenty of other new games don't make the tables, including Overruled!, Pro Evolution Soccer 2016, GunWorld: Xbox One Edition, Inside My Radio, Plague Inc: Evolved and Pumped BMX +.

Elsewhere, recent release Castle Crashers Remastered remains the most completed game whilst Grand Theft Auto V clambers up to second following the release of the "Freemode Events" update. Mad Max also makes its debut on Completed in fifth with almost 100 completions as enough people have finished off the game's sandbox (literally) grind.

Xbox 360
New Games with Gold freebie Crysis 3 launches onto the 360 tables with 3,800 starters and six places on Achievements Won. The other slots there are populated by "The Taken King", naturally. As with on the One, the DLC prompts a surge in new starters for the game, putting it in eighth with over 120 starters

Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway crops up in eighth on Completed with 16 completions thanks to a series of achievements that must be earned on September 17th, the anniversary of the beginning of Operation Market Garden.

Windows
The previous week's new release, Doodle God Blitz (Win 8), slips down from second to seventh on Started, leaving Age of Empires: Castle Siege (Win 10) to fill the gap in second again. Everything still sits below Microsoft Solitaire Collection (UWP) though, which maintains over twice as many starters as everything else and a clean sweep on Achievements Won. A patch to fix broken achievements also puts Doodle God on Completed in fourth with 16 completions.

Windows Phone
The Windows Phone version of Doodle God Blitz (WP) doesn't slide like the Windows version, staying at the top with 400 starters. The week's sale puts Abyss (WP) in fourth.

Although the recent "DLC: Title Update" keeps What in the World? (WP) as the most completed game, Microsoft Bingo (WP) leaps into second thanks to a fixed glitched achievement, which turns up as the second most earned achievement won.

Genres
Tomb Raider ensures that Action-Adventure stays on top though Destiny makes a decent effort at closing the gap with Shooter in second. After the boost in numbers thanks to Castle Crashes last week, Action settles down again this week, though it maintains a third place position despite a solid attempt by both Sports and Racing to knock it down. These shifts push Role-Playing from fourth to sixth while the dual platform efforts of Frozen put Puzzle onto the table in seventh.
