Dying Light Involving Fans For The Following DLC

By Mark Delaney, 1 year ago
It's crazy to believe Dying Light, a game that released in late January, is still getting new story content, but that's exactly the case. The Following add-on is set to introduce more narrative, map areas, vehicles, and now, maybe, your own words. Techland is asking for fans to help them build background story to an upcoming mission that'll take place inside an abandoned post office. They want fans to create their best letters of "distress, horror, or bravery" and send them in to the studio via this link.

They plan to choose the best among them and include them among the letters scattered in the abandoned office. They've shown plenty of light-heartedness throughout development of the game and its content, so this quote from producer Tymon Smektala fits them quite nicely.
We've already seen what fans can do when creating awesome stuff for us, so we found a cool little way to let them actually be a part of the story and have their efforts and names appear in our game forever. Just no dick pics please.
