In sunny Spain, many are enjoying Madrid Games Week as new titles are being announced. Among the lineup of eleven other titles, publisher BadLand Indie has announced that Dreadlocks Ltd's Dex
will be making its way to our consoles.
This 2D title follows the story of an AI aiming to reach something known as the Singularity, where all artificial intelligence will surpass that of humans and thus ruin the future of mankind. Throughout the game you will be roaming the streets of Harbor Prime, a futuristic city where you'll be able to take on challenges and augment your character with various skills and implants. Designed as a tribute of sorts to RPG's of the 90s, Dex
asks you to become part of this world and decide on your ultimate path.
Alongside this information, a trailer for the game has been released to give some more insight:
will be releasing on Xbox One in 2016.
