It's Friday the 13th and the hardware store is missing a couple machetes and a chainsaw, that can only mean one thing; Jason is coming. Gun Media has just announced that Friday the 13th: The Game
has been fully funded and will indeed get a multi-console release in the near future.
What was originally announced
as a Kickstarter project titled Summer Camp
back in February, Gun Media has since fully obtained the Friday the 13th license and has achieved their funding goal of $700,000.00 allowing for additional stretch goals from this point forward to be unlocked.
The title is said to be an asymmetrical multiplayer experience set in the iconic Camp Crystal Lake. Seven players will have to work together as the camp's counselors to survive the night from the eighth player who gets to be the terrifying and relentless Jason Voorhees. The time for roasting marshmallows is over, check out the original announcement trailer if you haven't already done so.
Friday the 13th: The Game
