PES 2016 Data Pack #2 Detailed

By Ashley Woodcock,
Konami looks to continue its support of Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 as the developer announces details of the upcoming Data Pack #2. The free download will include new international kits, new likenesses, missing content from the first Data Pack, and more.

Data Pack #2 will add 51 new likenesses to the player rosters. These will include Fernando Torres, Kevin dr Bruyne, Julian Draxler, Jame Vardy and Aleksander Mitrovic. Konami promises that more players will be added in future updates. Rosters and player faces will be updated for all offline modes, "correcting those missing in the previous Data Pack and covering all moves made until October 19th".

The legendary "Estadio do Maracanã venue" has been recreated and comes with a unique pre-match intro sequence that showcases the exterior and surrounding city where dedicated and passionate fans light up the skies with fireworks and flares. This is a first for the PES series and will only be available on the Xbox One.

Lastly, eight new boot styles will be included in the Data Pack, featuring the latest designs from Joma, Mizuno, and Puma as well as the new Nike Orde CSF and Ordem2 ball designs which have been "perfectly replicated for use within the game". New entrance sequences for Copa Libertadores and Sudamiercana matches have also been added in the Data Pack.

Data Pack #2 will be available for free in PES 2016 for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 on December 3rd.
