Elefantopia has today announced a partnership with publisher GRIP Digital to bring their action-strategy game McDroid to the Xbox One next year. Starring the titular brave robot after crash-landing on a distant planet packed with villainous alien forces, players will need to build bases and harvest space resources and weaponry in order to defeat the bug-eyed hordes and return home.

Jakub Mikyska, CEO of GRIP Digital, said this of the upcoming action tower defence title:

McDroid has been gaining huge positive feedback since it launched on Steam, and it’s a great pleasure for GRIP to be spreading the intergalactic challenge across to Xbox One and Playstation 4 consoles.
Alongside this announcement, screenshots and a trailer have been released:

McDroid is set to crash land onto the Xbox One in early 2016.
