We also caused a lot of buzz across social media with both our 100,000 Achievements
And we've even had time to launch a brand new site for PC gamers - TrueSteam Achievements
It's been another amazing year for site registrations, with over 75,000 gamers registering
(a new record!), and an average of over 70,000 different gamers logging in every month.

The news team has had an extremely busy year providing over 3000 articles
for you to read at your leisure. From the major AAA titles to the smallest of ID@Xbox releases, no game has been ignored. We have added new features to the site, such as the achievement reveal articles, as well as new features to the articles themselves. Our new screenshot carousels mean that you will no longer have to scroll past a long list of screenshots to read the bottom of the article. In 2016 we hope to add even more features to the articles to improve the way that our news is displayed. It has been an amazing and challenging year, but I think that you will all agree that it has been worth it!
As the news winds down over the holiday period, please be aware that the news coverage will be sparse while all of our newshounds take a welcome break to recharge our batteries. Normal news coverage will resume at the start of the new year.

Hello fellow TA’ers,
As 2015 rounds to an end it’s been enjoyable to reflect and reminisce on all of the accomplishments and events from the year. What a diverse year it has been for the Community Events Team. We started off the year running the annual TrueAchievements Game Of The Year 2014
, followed by the first annual TA Leap Frog 2015
challenge that, shockingly, lasted 100 DAYS. Some of our annual events, such as Bean Dive 2015
and Extra Life 2015
, saw their day in the limelight and we also saw the highly anticipated return of Rocktober
(previously run under the title Music Mayhem) in which a total of 2,188 achievements for a total of 108,088 TA score was earned from Rocktober sessions. As we wrap up the year, we’re currently running TrueAchievements Game Of The Year 2015

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank each and every member of CET for all the time, effort, energy, and for putting up with me during the past year. As 2015 draws to a close, it's definitely been one of the busiest years yet for the Game Information team. With 390 new achievement lists, 55 title updates, 151 add-ons, and 9 applications (encapsulating 13,805 achievements and 134 challenges) hitting the site, we've been on our toes for the majority of it.
Throughout the year we've added over 28,000 flags to 14,000 achievements across more than 500 games, and made over 34,000 other tracked (some stuff isn't) game information changes, which I'm sure you'll agree is pretty crazy. As such I'd like to say a huge thank you to the volunteers on the Game Information team, many of whom have worked tirelessly to make sure games are flagged, sales are added, and game information is as up to date as it can be.
I'd also like to say a huge thank you to everyone in the community that's submitted game information. While it can sometimes take us a little while to verify and add information, we do really, really, really appreciate every single submission that comes our way and without your help the game information on site wouldn't be as great as it is.
With 2016 on the horizon, we're looking to hit the ground running with some exciting new developments (the multi-genre system is first on the list) that should make it the best year for game information yet!

2015 was a pretty hectic year for the Walkthrough Team. There have been 2 recruitments and multiple shifts in management, but what's most important is greatly positive. There have been 307 walkthroughs published this year
, which couldn't have been done without the community. All of us on the Walkthrough Team are incredibly busy ensuring that every walkthrough is top-quality, and we'd like to thank the community for allowing us to proofread their walkthroughs and publish them on this wonderful site. Each walkthrough writer has done an amazing job writing these guides for the community, and many community members have done an amazing job giving us feedback on what could be improved within the team or within a specific walkthrough. Happy impending end of December to you all, from everyone on the Reported Content Team!
It's been a crazy, crazy year for the Reported Content team, which has seen the team forced to deal with content that has been reported! I know, right? Madness! Last year we had 'an amount' of reports to deal with and this year has seen that exponentially increase to 'several'. This has really caught us totally off guard as we had only budgeted for 'some'. However, this has allowed us to future-proof ourselves and expect to be able to handle 'quite a few' in the next 12 months.
Being the smallest team on TA, we are oft overlooked as we battle on, heroically I might add, in the background, whilst attempting to avoid being trampled by the behemoths that are the news, info and walkthrough teams. It's a lonely, epic, thankless task (apart from when we get thanked) and is only made remotely bearable by the monumental appreciation we have for all the beautiful users who take the time out of their busy gaming schedules to report the solutions and reviews that they may have had an issue with.
We're nothing without you (site-wide group-hug) and love you all dearly. Please continue to do what you do because doing it does do what needs to be done.

We have worked hard to provide TA readers with more reviews than ever before and over 100 have been published
in 2015. Not only that, we recently received confirmation that future reviews will be added to Metacritic.
This increased contact with developers and publishers has allowed us to build lots of new relationships and improve existing ones, and has resulted in us being able to run more giveaways than ever before.
Over the course of the past 12 months, we've seen significant growth in followers on each of our social network pages - especially on Twitter, where we focused much of our attention early in the year with the introduction of automatic Tweets for new achievement lists, and adding images to our automatic posts.
In August we re-introduced Gamercards
, and so far over 11,000 individual cards have been created.
Our 100,000 Xbox Achievements story was picked up by a number of large gaming sites and was the top story on /r/xboxone and /r/xbox360 for the majority of the day it was published.
Last month we introduced the #My1stAchievement feature, which has been shared on social networks numerous times and is still being used today.

It's been another busy year for myself and the moderator team. On a site as large as this, there is always someone* posting something that they shouldn't and I'm sure that 2016 will do no different!
In June we did a recruitment drive and got over 200 applications (some better than others); for those that didn't make it this time, be on the lookout as I'm sure there will be an opportunity in 2016.
On a personal note, the Game of the Year Awards
are the only site event that I host, so be sure to vote for your favourite games and make it best year yet (remember, if you don't vote you can't complain - new site rule...)
