The Technomancer Experiments With Creatures

A new batch of screens has been released for developer Spiders upcoming RPG The Technomancer. Despite Mars being seemingly deserted and devoid of life, creatures have somehow appeared on the red planet and will undoubtedly be looking for a human snack to munch on once gamers set out on their upcoming adventure. Spider has more details on the story behind the fearful looking creatures we will soon bump into:

Although Mars’ red surface is naturally barren and completely devoid of life, hundreds of years of human civilization has led to the creation and evolution of many hybrid species built from the genetic makeup of animals found on Earth. What was first an exercise to create an ecosystem to support the original settlers eventually grew out of control, following the cataclysm that wiped most settlers and isolated Mars from Earth. Mutations and accelerated evolution forged what little life there was into threatening beasts scattered all over the red planet.
Originally bred as "domestic animals", the harshness the animals have had to live through with the conditions on Mars means that the animals have become defensive in a very deadly manner. Whether it be poison, camouflage, or just sheer strength and force, these animals will not hesitate to take out whatever or whoever trespasses on their territory. The longer Mars remains cut off from Earth, the more deadlier and dangerous these animals will become. Take a look at the new screens to see the trouble that awaits you:
