An apology

I'm really sorry to say that last night when trying to de-dupe some comments from the comment table, I accidentally deleted the entire contents of the table.

The table is used for storing solutions, reviews, and comments on solutions and reviews.

Fortunately I had a backup from a Monday afternoon which I have restored from, and re-imported the data from that point.

However, if you submitted a review, solution or made a comment on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, it's gone for good.

I can't quite express how devasted I am about this, it's incredibly unlike me to do something like that, it was late and I wasn't really concentrating 100% on what I was doing (a rubbish excuse I know).

Anyway, it has led me to modify the backup schedule from weekly to daily, and to put some additional checks in place before deleting anything from any tables.

If yours was one of the 300 solutions, comments or reviews submitted in this time then I am incredibly sorry - PLEASE re-submit them, your hard work helps to makes this site what it is and we'd be lost without it.

By way of recompense (!), I have uploaded a change to the Trophy Case page which allows you to re-order your favourite achievements a lot more easily by using a dropdown to change the positions.

I've also up'd the limit on the number of achievements you can have in your ToDo list to 100.

And donators can now have up to 10 unregistered friends.

I hope you enjoy these little modifications and I'm really sorry about what happened. I promise it will never happen again.
