Konami Announces Yu-Gi-Oh Plans For The Year

Konami Digital Entertainment has set out their plans for the Yu-Gi-Oh! series for the upcoming year, which includes both a brand new game for consoles as well as an upcoming patch for an already released game.

First up, a new un-named Yu-Gi-Oh! game will be released this winter, and the only detailsthat we have is that it will be an online based game.

To accompany this, an update for last year's release of Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist on Xbox One will be making an appearance later this year as well. Whilst there are no actual details for this update, we are promised that it will be "major". Konami has promised to "continue to develop and distribute a wide range of Yu-Gi-Oh! content to deliver the fun and excitement of the series to customers around the globe", so fans of the series should be happy to hear this and hope to see continued Yu-Gi-Oh! releases.

The update for Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist will be out sometime later this year, whilst the new online based Yu-Gi-Oh! game is expected to be released in Winter 2016.
