Leikir Studio Announces Wondershot

By Ashley Woodcock, 11 months ago
Developed by French indie team Leikir Studio, Wondershot looks to bring back the fun of couch competition and co-op. Even though it's still around now in smaller numbers, there used to be a time when couch co-op and competitions were the only way to game with friends and family. The upcoming action title will be aiming to bring the competitive couch nature back with its new multiplayer that offers enjoyment for gamers of all ages.

Aurelien Loos, co-founder of Leikir Studio, is very excited to see his vision come to life:

It is a truly exciting time for us here at Leikir Studio. Every gamer’s dream is to make the type of video games they grew up playing and my favorite gaming memories were playing ‘couch party’ games with buddies. And that was our vision with Wondershot, a multiplayer game that’s simple, fast and fun that can be enjoyed by anyone.
The family-friendly party title offers a top-down style of play as players choose from a selection of different characters and then square off on the various map environments. Get to grips with the bow, boomerang, hammer, and slingshot as well as each weapons special ability as you try to win "one shot and you're down" rounds against your opponents. Competitive four-player matches are not all that's on offer as players can also team up together to square off against waves of enemies in constantly changing environments. The game offers simple controls, a quick pace of play, and plenty of intensity.
