The Solus Project Dated for Game Preview

Teotl Studios' upcoming single-player survival title The Solus Project was confirmed to be coming to the Xbox One's Game Preview program last year. A solid release date has now been confirmed along with a set of screens and a developer video to check out.

Players will be put to test as they attempt to survive the harsh and volatile environment that the game will have to offer. Jakub Mikyska, CEO of game publisher GRIP Digital, is feeling confident that the title will offer something different from other survival sandbox games:

With the flood of run-of-the-mill survival sandbox games around us, we can’t wait to show the players something different – a narrative-driven, single player survival experience, full of mystery and millennia-old secrets waiting to be unraveled.

Sjoerd De Jong, CEO of Teotl Studios, is ready to impress:

After more than two years of development, we are ready to show our vision of what survival games could be – a hand-crafted adventure about the struggle between a man and nature and mankind’s will to survive.
Take a look at the new set of screens for a sample of the loneliness, horror, and creepiness to come:

Finally, the new developer video welcomes us to Gliese-6143-C where secrets await to be unlocked and caves and tombs are ready to be explored:

The Solus Project will be available via the Game Preview program on Xbox One on February 26th. Episodic content updates will release after this, but the schedule or further dates are yet to be announced. The final version of the game will be ready in May 2016.
