Dark Souls III Season Pass Announced

By Andy Mills, 1 year ago
Publisher Bandai Namco has announced that the highly anticipated Dark Souls III will be getting a season pass, like many triple-A games these days. Judging by the listing on the Xbox website, the season pass provides access to two DLC packs that will contain new maps, bosses, enemies and weapon and armour sets.

In addition, the original Dark Souls will be given to anyone who pre-orders the game digitally. The game will be distributed with a code through a message on Xbox so that those of you who already own the original Dark Souls - and I imagine that's most of you, if you're pre-ordering a game in the franchise - should presumably be able to give a code to a friend that doesn't. They'll even be able to play it on Xbox One, as it was also revealed that the game will be backwards compatible soon.

Dark Souls III will release on Xbox One on April 12th.
