The kickstarter funded title, Battalion 1944, from Bulkhead Interactive absolutely destroyed its original funding target of £100,000 and at the time of writing is almost three times over that amount. With such strong support and heavy funding for the game, the development team has now released details on the new stretch goals as well as a new trailer and a set of screens.

Here's the list of stretch goals with the first three on the list already completed:

• £225,000 - Full Time Community Manager
• £250,000 - Enhanced Particle Effects
• £275,000 - Currahee Bootcamp Map
• £300,000 - Competitive D-Day Map
• £325,000 - British Forces Join The Fight
• £350,000 - More Cosmetic Unlocks
• £400,000 - Russian Army Fights Back
• £500,000 - Offline Behind Enemy Lines Mode
• £600,000 - Introducing the Pacific Theatre
• £1,200,000 - Single Player Campaign

Currently, 9,040 backers have pledged £284,257 with three days to go. If you're interested in supporting the game, you can pledge, check out the backer rewards and plenty more details on the game right here.

The "Final Sprint" trailer, which was released three days ago now, showcases some of the content from the stretch goals in an effort to attract more support and more backers:

The new set of screens see soldiers doing battle in cold and snowy weather using a small variety of different weapons:

Battalion 1944 is currently pencilled in for a May 2017 release on the Xbox One.
