New Screens Released for The Surge

By Ashley Woodcock, 1 year ago
Things have been a little bit quiet from Deck 13, developer behind upcoming RPG The Surge, since the game's announcement in December last year. Now, the team has released their first pieces of media this year in the form of a new screen and a new piece of art.

The hero of the show can be seen in the new images and is equipped with his exoskeleton, which serves as a base that allows the player to upgrade their equipment. When battling with the scary looking enemies in the game, players can target specific parts or limbs to recover and take "specific pieces of armor, weapons, or equipment" that can be attached to the exoskeleton. The best parts won't come off easy, however, as only the toughest and most dangerous enemies will have these parts attached. Common enemies can still be a threat too, and bosses will be the most testing opponents. It's going to take a lot of guts, lightning fast reflexes and nerves of steel to take down the enemies of The Surge.

The Surge will be coming to the Xbox One sometime in 2017.
