Codemasters' DiRT Rally
is available on PC but is still a month away from releasing on consoles. In the road to release on consoles, the development team has released a new developer diary in which Codemasters talks about the game being more challenging and how the feedback from the recent Steam Early Access program has shaped the game to be as thrilling as it is.
Thanks to the early access via Steam, Codemasters offered the community the opportunity to upload their highlights of racing in the game to the team. After an overwhelming response from passionate players, the team then took the footage and created a community trailer with it to showcase the skills, thrills and chills that the game offers as sweet rally cars speed through dirt and skid very smoothly around potentially car-ending corners:
To top off the videos, we have a set of screens to check out that showcase six different rally cars from the game, including the 1970 Ford Escort MKII, the 1980 Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500, a Ford Focus RS2001, a VW Polo, a crazy looking Peugeot 208, and a R4 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X:DiRT Rally
will release on the Xbox One on April 5th.
