MXGP2 Introduces Bike and Rider Customization

By Ashley Woodcock, 1 year ago
Before riders hit the dirt in Milestone's upcoming MXGP2 - The Official Motocross Videogame, players will have the option to customize the look of their bike and rider with the different editable elements, as well as being able to change their name, number and font on their racing gear.

After creating a rider, players will have several elements they can edit:

In particular, the editable elements include:

• Helmet
• Goggles
• Neckbrace
• Racewear
• Boots
After editing the above features, players can then choose their nationality and head to the "real" garage to change parts such as graphics, tires, suspension, accessories, exhausts and more.

Once you're happy with your customizations, head out to one of the two new circuits of the track test mode that have been designed specifically for practising. Switch between Free Riding, where the player goes into an open area and races as many laps as they please and is able to switch from one circuit to another, or Time Session, where players can set a time and try to beat the time or a time of the bike before changes were made.

Each of the two layouts is designed for a specific training: Layout 1, can be used by those who want to increase their skills in the Official Championship, while the Layout 2 is for the Stadium Series.
A new set of screens, followed by a trailer, showcase the customization menus as well as customized riders and bikes in action:

MXGP 2 remains set for a March 31st release on the Xbox One.
