Star Wars Battlefront's Free March Update is Now Available

Earlier this year, EA outlined the full release schedule of its DLC content for Star Wars Battlefront. This included both the paid expansion packs and free content updates that are available to everyone. Now, just two weeks after February's update, players can enjoy March's addition of free content. Unlike the last update, however, there are no modifications to characters, game modes or weapons -- just new maps.

The first offering is a new Survival mission on Tatooine. The "Rebel Depot" mission can be tackled solo or with a buddy. The multiplayer map, titled "Survivors of Endor," supports the Walker Assault, Supremacy, and Turning Point game modes. This update has already released and should be available to play right now.

The first bit of paid DLC is also due to release sometime this month. "Outer Rim" will introduce maps featuring both Sullust and Jabba the Hutt's Palace when it releases in the coming weeks.
