We've already heard plenty of details
's multiplayer. Well, Bethesda has revealed some more, including what is set to come after the game's full launch.
Before that, however, was an announcement for an open beta. Containing two modes (Team Deathmatch and Warpath) and two maps (Heatwave and Infernal), the beta will run from April 15th until April 18th. The only requirement to play the beta is the ability to download it -- no code, no nothing.
In addition, there was also an announcement that both multiplayer and SnapMap will receive free content updates. Multiplayer will receive new game modes, whereas SnapMap will receive a variety of new map creation tools. These will include map modules, props and objects, additional features and functionality, AI enhancements, editing tool enhancements and more.
Finally, as well as free updates, Bethesda has announced that there will be three paid DLCs, each of which will contain new maps, hack modules, weapons, demons and more. The first DLC has been detailed and it will contain three new maps, one new weapon, one new playable demon, a new armour set, one new piece of equipment, some new hack modules and taunts and, finally, new customization colours and patterns. Each DLC will cost $14.99/£11.99/€14.99, or you can get them all at a slight discount with the Season Pass for $39.99/£29.99/€39.99.DOOM
will launch on Xbox One on May 13th.
