Players That Exploited The Division May Get Punished For It

The community of Tom Clancy's The Division and the developers at Massive Entertainment have been at odds since the launch of Incursions.

If you haven't played The Division since last week's launch of the 1.1 update, Falcon Lost is the first of a new end-game activity called Incursions. It involves surviving fifteen waves of difficult enemies and tasks players to destroy a parked APC as well. Falcon Lost is also the primary source for Gear Set items, the new top level gear new to the 1.1 update.

A few days after the update players had already found an exploit to easily complete Falcon Lost. Writing on the official Ubisoft forums, Community Manager Natchai Strappers wrote:

We are working on fixing the exploit. Obviously it is against our Code of Conduct and the team is looking into what can be done in terms of punishment for those who have exploited.
Who knows what type of "punishment" they're planning on dishing out. Will it simply be a matter of removing the gear players obtained illegitimately? Or will Ubisoft take it a step further to make an example for future exploits?
