It's been a few months since CD Projekt Red revealed
the second major DLC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
, "Blood and Wine". To reward fans for their patience, the developer has revealed some gorgeous new screenshots for the expansion.
Not much in the way of story details accompanied the announcement - although the studio promised "more information in May". The screens hint that the expansion's Toussaint region is a more vibrant, luxurious one than those we have grown accustomed to in the series so far. But it wouldn't be a Witcher
landscape if things didn't seem a little sinister under the surface.
Oh, and huge, disgusting bugs. It wouldn't be the same without those either.
The screenshot's original file name tells us this is the Scolopendromorph.
Try saying that fast three times!
On second thought, don't do that. You might summon it.
"Blood and Wine" is still expected in the first half of 2016 as per the original announcement, although no firm date has been given.
