Microsoft continues their strategy of, well, seemingly randomly adding games to the backwards compatibility catalog. One here, two there, three here. Today, a classic arcade game, Konami's Frogger, and a modern re-imagining of a classic arcade game, Bandai Namco's Galaga Legions DX, joins the party.
Here are the full descriptions for the two games:
Galaga Legions DX
The legendary hit arcade shooter returns with Galaga Legions DX! Featuring a new twist on the classic gameplay, slick new graphics and devastating weapon power-ups, the fate of the galaxy lies in your hands! Board your fighter and prepare to defend Earth from wave after wave of relentless aliens. Target your enemies' critical weak spots to earn bonuses and rack-up an astronomical score! Blast your way through unique levels and epic boss battles on your mission to defend the galaxy and prevent an intergalactic catastrophe!Frogger
Full game includes the new Versus Speed, Co-Op, and Versus Head-to-Head multiplayer modes! Earn achievements and post your high scores against other players on Xbox Live™! Neither game contains any unobtainable achievements, and both are estimated to be less than five hour completions. If you own either of the two games on XBLA, they will automatically show up in your "Ready to Install" list on Xbox One. Frogger was also available on the physical retail disc Konami Classics Volume 1. If you're curious what other games in your collection are backwards compatible, check out the full list here.
