Yesterday Origins Gets A Launch Date - No, It Wasn't Yesterday

By Sam Quirke, 1 year ago
We've been waiting a good long while for Yesterday Origins to get a release date since its original announcement almost a year ago, but now we have one - September 29th.

Thanks to an immortal protagonist, the point and click adventure will be set in both Medieval times and the modern day. The player will visit many international locations in the pursuit of "the origins of immortality", which we can only hope isn't the Holy Grail again.

The game has had a bit of a graphics overhaul since its 2012 PC predecessor Yesterday, but it seems to be retaining the same cartoon art style:

I'm slightly disappointed that Pendulo Studios decided to tell us the date now, rather than on September 30th. I guess day-one sales are more important than making terrible jokes, to some people.
