You probably saw in our Sales Roundup this week that two DLCS for Battlefield 4, Battlefield 4 (Xbox 360), Battlefield Hardline and Battlefield Hardline (Xbox 360) were listed on the Xbox Marketplace as free. Well, it turns out there's a reason for that.

Road to Battlefield.

Road to Battlefield

Here is what was announced:

A new Battlefield™ is coming later this year, and we're celebrating by keeping the action going in Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline. Over the next few months we'll be giving away previously released expansion packs for both games to anyone playing on Xbox One, Xbox 360, Origin for PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3. There are also new Community Missions and a whole lot more to get excited about.
Here is what's going on right now in both games:

Battlefield 4

Store links: Dragon's Teeth (Xbox One) and Dragon's Teeth (Xbox 360)

Community Mission: Melee Kills: "Jump into any Battlefield 4 multiplayer mode and map and score 2.5 million Melee Kills to get a Gold Battlepack. This mission is active between May 3, 2016 9AM PT and May 10, 2016 9AM PT."

Battlefield: Hardline

May 3rd to May 10th: "Robbery" DLC free (both Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions)
Store links: Robbery (Xbox One) and Robbery (Xbox 360)

Community Mission: Heist Score: "Hit the streets in Battlefield Hardline's Heist mode and collectively score 300 thousand points to get a Gold Battlepack. This mission is active between May 3, 2016 9AM PT and May 10, 2016 9AM PT."

Battlefield 4 Premium and Battlefield Hardline Premium have also been added to the Vault for EA Access Members.

We'll keep you posted as more things are added in the coming weeks. And don't forget, more good news is on the way for Battlefield fans on Friday May 6th at 4 p.m. ET, which is when the "first look at the future of Battlefield" is scheduled, where we hope to see the world premiere of the new Battlefield game.
