Grand Theft Auto Online - Stunts, Contraband Dealing And More To Come In 2016

Rockstar have today committed to continuous updates for Grand Theft Auto Online in 2016.

We can expect a lot more in the way of Bonus Weeks for starters (like the Time Trials Event currently in progress), but there will also be some more substantial additions -- two of which were explained in a little detail today.

Firstly, there will be a substantial addition to activities available to an Organization, a feature originally added in the "Executives and Other Criminals" update. You'll now be able to purchase and run an HQ which will also serve as a warehouse for your contraband. You'll be able to manage your inventory from here, which will include jewellery, narcotics and medical supplies. Keep the merchandise in mint condition to make a profit, and protect your precious cargo from raids as you deliver it to your customers.

I just want that sweet Roledex...I just want that sweet Roledex...

The other major update teased at in today's announcement is an incoming slew of races, vehicles, gear and Creator props enabling players to pull off ridiculous stunts, as this screenshot shows:

Sadly, this probably isn't a fun new way to get out of your high-rise apartment.Sadly, this probably isn't a fun new way to get out of your high-rise apartment.

Rockstar also mentioned further locations for their "In & Out" Adversary Mode, and hinted at other "competitive team-based modes to come."

Nothing has a release date yet, but you can expect these updates to land throughout 2016.

Remember, Rockstar have previously stated that they will not continue to update the Xbox 360 version of this game, so you will need to be on the Xbox One version if you want to enjoy these new modes when they arrive.
