Mirror's Edge Catalyst Theme Song Composed by Electronic Trio CHVRCHES

Lisa Miskovsky's "Still Alive," the theme song to 2008's Mirror's Edge, resonated deeply with fans of the parkour runner, and is undoubtedly hard to top. Publisher EA and developer DICE have announced a collaboration with Scottish electronic trio CHVRCHES for its successor, Mirror's Edge Catalyst.

The song is called "Warning Call" and it is an original composition written for the game.

According to DICE, "the song is featured at the start and end of the game and one more secret location if you explore the city of Glass, and touches on many of the thematic elements of the Mirror’s Edge Catalyst story."

The band members of CHVRCHES felt connected to the overall themes in Catalyst.

"We were honored to be asked to contribute to the soundtrack for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst," said Iain Cook from CHVRCHES. "The sound of CHVRCHES' music resonates with the minimalist sci-fi dystopia of the Mirror’s Edge world, and we feel that the song complements the drama, emotion and empowering themes of Faith's story."

We'll be able to see more of what the game is about, as well as discover this "secret location," when Mirror's Edge Catalyst launches on June 7th (NA) and June 9th (EU).
