They may not be holding a keynote presentation, but Square Enix still has a significant presence at E3. This year will not be an exception. With just over three weeks to go until the biggest gaming conference of the year begins, the publisher has detailed what we can expect from them during the event.
While they're not revealing too much now, all of the publisher's announcements and currently-revealed upcoming titles will be discussed in more detail on their Square Enix Presents show. Players will be able to find new details and media from upcoming titles like Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
and The Turing Test
There will be more details about Episode 3 of HITMAN
. In the next instalment of IO Interactive's seven-part World of Assassination experience, Agent 47 will be heading to Marrakesh. We'll even get a release date for this DLC next week. We will also see the next add-on for Just Cause 3
. The "Land Mech Assault" pack "takes Rico's chaos causing arsenal back to land where he'll be able to take control of some devastating mechanized weapons". This is the second of three expansions featured in the "AIR, LAND & SEA" Expansion Pass.
Finally, we can expect to see some new titles too. One of these will be Black The Fall
, an action-adventure game that is in development at Sand Sailor Studio. Players assume the role of Black, an obedient factory worker who is oppressed by a communist dystopia. One day, a door malfunctions and an opportunity to escape presents itself. Not only must the player solve puzzles, avoid pitfalls and manipulate guards, machines and fellow workers to escape, they must survive the harsh environment too. The game is due to be released on consoles in Spring 2017.
Square Enix's next blog will outline more of the new titles that we can expect to see at E3, as well as some "exciting" Tomb Raider
news. As usual, be sure to stay glued to TA for all of this latest information as we get it.
